Bookkeeper

LHH recruitment solutions is hiring for a Bookkeeper in the Jacksonville Beach, FL area. Our client is looking for a bookkeeper with strong accounts payable and receivables background. This position is working fully in office 7am-4pm work schedule with a growing client that offers excellent benefits. You are a great fit if:

5 plus years of general bookkeeping experience

Service industry experience a plus

Quickbooks online a plus

Responsibilities to include:

Match packing slips/purchase orders to A/P invoices and code to appropriate general ledger accounts, departments and projects

Maintain vendor and subcontractor files and process weekly disbursements/check runs

Sales tax assessment

Monthly vendor and credit card statement reconciliations

Process/post high volume of check, credit card payments and remote deposits for both service and construction customers and reconcile a daily cash summary

Set up new projects, input contracts and budgets for remodel/construction jobs

Monitor all open projects and prepare billing invoices for percentage contract payments

Process large volume of customer statements on monthly basis

Customer A/R communications and reconciliations

A/R collections, NTOs and Lien releases

Assist in monthly inventory reconciliation for multiple locations

This position is a direct hire role that will pay $50-$60k depending on resume and experience. Please apply today!
