Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; clinical fellows with strong backgrounds are also encouraged to apply
  • Experience serving school-aged children with a variety of communication disorders
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred by teachers or caregivers
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions, both individual and small group, in accordance with best practices
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and contribute to eligibility meetings
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support carryover of skills and generalization
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
