Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Andover, MN

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic school-based setting as a part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) working with students from elementary to high school levels. This contract assignment offers an enriching experience supporting communication growth and learning for students across two sites. Serving both Northdale Middle School (0.7 FTE) and Andover Elementary/High School, you'll work collaboratively with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists and educators to provide impactful services throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota SLPA license in hand (dual certification clearly visible on license PDF)
• Previous school-based SLPA experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficient with documentation and progress reporting
• Commitment to inclusive, student-focused therapy practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services under licensed SLP supervision
• Support implementation of student IEPs across caseload assignments
• Provide in-class and pullout interventions as needed
• Conduct routine progress monitoring and data collection
• Prepare therapeutic materials and maintain accurate records
• Foster positive rapport with students, staff, and families

Assignment Details:

• Contract position from late August 2026 through early June 2027
• 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Serve students at both middle and elementary/high school sites
