Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a lasting impact in the lives of students with significant disabilities by providing compassionate, individualized instruction in a supportive school environment. Multiple positions are available: one serving elementary-age students and another focusing on secondary learners. Both openings are for full-time, on-site special education teachers dedicated to supporting low-incidence populations, each with a manageable caseload of about 10 students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid low-incidence special education teaching license required and must be currently active
  • Previous experience working with students with significant disabilities strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs for diverse learners
  • Effective collaboration skills with general educators, related service providers, and families
  • Strong communication abilities and adaptability to diverse classroom needs
  • Commitment to full-time, in-person teaching (no virtual option available)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction, interventions, and academic supports tailored to student needs
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 10 students, ensuring compliance with all special education documentation and timelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop functional, achievable goals and objectives for each student
  • Foster a safe, positive learning environment that promotes student independence and growth
  • Support behavioral and social-emotional development through evidence-based practices
  • Maintain accurate records and participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
