Software Engineering Team LeadDepartment:Enterprise Systems GroupBillable Hours Goal:60% of worked hoursPosition Type:Full TimeTravel Required:Minimal as neededJOB SUMMARY:As the Technical Lead of the Enterprise Systems Group, you will lead the technical team to help ensure they are following processes to deliver all technical functions to agreed scope and specifications as well as provide ongoing client support. Streamline and provide onboarding activities by shadowing, training, ensuring training teams are completing training and other activities. Making decisions aimed at improving efficiency while at the same time ensuring no disruption of on-time delivery to customers. Directly working with the consulting leads to provide quality solution design. REPORTS TO: Manager, Enterprise Systems GroupDIRECT REPORTS: Systems and Software EngineersESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Utilize Software Engineering knowledge providing customized solutions to Epicor and external utilitiesDevelop and test solutions with attention to detail and accuracyDocument all modifications to client software according to company policyManage assigned queue, to ensure the team is meeting deadlines and other milestonesProvide classroom training to end users on Epicor technical toolsMentor Technical Team Members as requiredAssist in the hiring process of Technical Team MembersAssist with onboarding/training of new Technical Team MembersActively contribute to development team process improvement, policies and proceduresProvide direction and escalation for ticket / task issues, and customer satisfaction follow upPresent ComTec in a positive light both internally and externally (i.e., be a champion for the company) Assist with performance and development of Technical Team Members Develop and monitor yearly training plans for direct reportsAssist Director with quarterly performance reviews with direct reportsADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Troubleshoot, identify and evaluate alternative solutions to a problemMaintain daily timesheet and expense report entries and submit them accurately and timelyLead weekly team meetings.Attend Epicor Escalation Meetings Other duties as required

Requirements:
TECHNICAL SKILLS:C# / VB.NET (intermediate/Advanced)Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and/or Progress Databases (Intermediate)Crystal Reports development (Basic)Microsoft SSRS Reporting (Basic)SOFT SKILLS & ABILITIES:Must be able to read, correctly interpret, develop, implement and test solutions based on the specifications documentStrong written and verbal communication skillsPleasant and professional demeanor in all client and internal communicationsIntellectually resourceful with sound judgment and effective decision-making abilitiesIndependent worker and able to work effectively on daily tasks without direct supervisionStrong organization skills and ability to operate efficiently throughout daily tasksIn general, owns issues through resolution although understands when to escalate a problem to another team member and whom to escalate too; accepts escalated issues; and mentors when appropriateDemonstrate empathy and professionalism with users at all timesWork well with clients at all levelsOperate with client satisfaction in mindEnergy, enthusiasm and results-orientedEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & KNOWLEDGE:Related bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience4+ years of Microsoft .NET programming experienceEpicor application experience a plusWORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Use of computer and office equipmentAbility to remain calm in stressful situationsPerforms all administrative functions expected at this levelADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to schedule for evening or weekend work occasionallyValid driver's license in your state of residence and reliable personal vehicleCompensation details: 00 Yearly SalaryPIb3a40ebd116b-6184
