Skilled Welder

Talent Corps -is seeking experienced Welders for commercial construction projects. Candidates should have strong knowledge of pipe welding, fabrication, and installation practices while maintaining high safety and quality standards on active jobsites.

Responsibilities:
• Perform welding on commercial plumbing and mechanical piping systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
• Cut, fit, braze, and weld various types of pipe and materials
• Assist with fabrication and installation of piping systems
• Operate welding equipment, torches, grinders, and hand tools safely
• Ensure all welds meet project specifications and quality standards
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
• Work closely with foremen, pipefitters, and project teams to meet production schedules.

Qualifications:
• Previous commercial or industrial welding experience required
• Experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and isometric drawings
• Knowledge of plumbing/mechanical piping systems preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must have reliable transportation and basic welding tools/PPE
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Must have experience working in the follow such as:

• Commercial construction projects.
• Hospitals, schools, data centers, manufacturing facilities, or large commercial buildings.
• Carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper piping systems.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and active construction environments
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work from lifts for extended periods.
