Shop Welder

Welder - $20-$25/hr

Gillmann Services is hiring Welders for a manufacturing facility in Sebree, KY.

We are looking for experienced welders who can pass a vertical flux core weld test. The work includes welding stainless steel and aluminum to build water tanks, water towers, silos, hoppers, and other large industrial equipment.

Pay & Schedule

• $20-$25/hr
• Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
• 40+ hours per week
• Friday work is likely

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications
• Weld using GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW processes
• Weld in multiple positions, including vertical
• Work with stainless steel and aluminum
• Inspect materials before and after welding
• Perform final inspections of completed welds
• Use basic math to calculate dimensions and weights
• Operate an oxy/acetylene torch
• Grind and gouge metal when needed
• Follow all safety and quality requirements

Requirements

• Welding experience required
• Must be able to pass a vertical flux core weld test
• Experience with stainless steel and aluminum preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and measurements
• Ability to work extended periods standing, grinding, and welding
• Reliable and safety-focused
