Service HVAC Technician

4-day Work Week! No Weekends! Must have boiler experience.

Air Mechanical is a family owned and operated Residential HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical contractor serving the metro area and surrounding communities for over 40 years. We specialize in residential service, maintenance and installation, as well as new construction and commercial installation.

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking Experienced HVAC Service Technicians with boiler experience. We offer a hourly wage of $29- $43 per hour (based on experience) sign on bonuses, with a full benefit package offering medical, dental, 401K, vacation & holiday pay.

Essential Functions:

The HVAC Service Technician's role includes but is not limited to:

• Servicing and maintaining residential HVAC systems.
• Solid understanding of pipe/duct details, system sizing/calculations ; and related design data as they relate to HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of electrical/refrigeration principles, service tools/testing devices.
• Developing skills necessary to perform routine maintenance with residential/commercial HVAC systems.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
• Maintaining strict adherence to all safety and compliance requirements.
• Maintaining an orderly workflow .
• Establishing and maintaining positive, professional interactions with others.
• Working cooperatively with team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC Service required.
• Boiler service experience is required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
• Work independently and complete work within required timelines.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
• Maintain and exhibit the highest level of professionalism.
• Computer proficient.
• Willingness to learn.
• Experience in Service Titan preferred but not required.
• Must have a good driving record and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires interaction with people within customer homes and outside homes to repair/maintain HVAC units. Work requires sitting, bending, twisting, dexterity with hands to grasp, hold or move objects, standing, walking, moving/lifting equipment, repetitive motions, and work overhead or on ladders on occasion. Driving on freeways, roads, etc. Communication is required to perform this job. May be exposed to fumes/smells, noises/sounds. Must be able to see to identify parts/equipment/supplies and communicate over the phone, email, and in person.
