Septic Truck Driver - CDL Class B Required

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for residential and commercial septic pumping and disposal of non-hazardous waste and have direct contact with all Wilson Services customers. The prospective employee will be responsible for maintaining a septic truck and following all rules and regulations given by the DOT and FMCSA. The employee is responsible for all pre/post trip inspections and reporting any issues to management. The applicant will be responsible for following a GPS route through a tablet.

Responsibilities:
Safely operate a variety of trucks, including septic truck (manual/automatic transmission), hook truck, dump truck, truck
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Communicate effectively with managers, customers, and team members

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must hold a Class A or B CDL with a tanker endorsement. If no tanker endorsement is held, the ability and willingness to obtain a tanker endorsement.
• Ability to successfully pass DOT drug screen
• Must hold a medical card, and have it renewed when needed.
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret documents including policies and procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, maps and road signs.
• Ability to speak, cooperate and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and management.
• Ability to work independently
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs
• Knowledge of basic hand and mechanical tools
• Must be a team player
• Have a good attitude, good work ethic and have willingness to learn

Work Environment:

• You are regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and non-hazardous fumes.
• Must be comfortable working independently.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
