Senior Manager Business Valuation

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager-level Business Valuation professional to join a dynamic national practice in Lawrenceville, NJ (preferred) or New York, NY .

Salary: $125,000 $200,000

Key Responsibilities

Manage client valuation engagements from start to finish
Perform business valuations, including due diligence, financial modeling, and appraisal reports
Develop valuation methodologies and analytical recommendations
Communicate and present valuation results to clients, legal counsel, and other stakeholders
Oversee and mentor junior team members
Support business development, proposals, and new client opportunities
Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality work

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
8 10 years of business valuation experience , particularly gift and estate tax valuations
Strong financial modeling skills, including building Excel models from scratch
Experience preparing professional, standards-compliant valuation reports
Relevant certifications such as CFA, CVA, CBA, or ABV preferred
Experience interacting with the IRS or other government agencies
Strong client communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements
