JOB DESCRIPTION - Lead Remediation Technician
Overview:
The Project Manager is the leader of the team. The Lead Technician is the Project Managers direct report. They are responsible for utilizing the resources of the team to ensure that all projects are completed on time and on budget with the customer's satisfaction at the end of the project. In addition, the Lead Technician is responsible for partnering with the Project Manager in procuring all work by assisting with emergency response lockdowns, estimating and locking down jobs handed down to them, managing the work and closing out of each project.
When needed, the Lead may need to step in as the acting Project Manager in times that the Project Manager is not available.
Is IICRC certified and is either at the level of "journeymen" or working toward it with a minimum of 3 classes passed
Overall Responsibilities:
Overall customer satisfaction, managing the Technicians and Helpers on the job sites to ensure that the work scope is done safely and properly. To keep the jobs on time and on budget. To assist the Project Manager in locking down jobs, estimating and reviewing billing for final approval by the Project Manager. Training, mentoring and employee development of all staff under your supervision. Cooperate with Warehouse to control tools, materials, and equipment.
