Senior Industrial Refrigeration Service Technician The Senior Industrial Refrigeration Service Technician is responsible for providing advanced troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance support for industrial refrigeration systems. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong customer interaction skills, and the ability to work independently in demanding environments. This technician will frequently travel between Greenville, SC and Commerce, GA to support customer sites. Responsibilities include: Perform installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on industrial HVAC/R and refrigeration systems Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement effective solutions Service screw and reciprocating compressors, evaporators, condensers, valves, motors, pumps, and alarm systems Communicate technical issues and recommendations clearly and professionally to customers Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with customers, vendors, and internal teams Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to improve service processes Follow OSHA and industry safety standards Required Qualifications: - 5+ years of industrial refrigeration service experience - OSHA training certification - Universal EPA certification - Experience working with ammonia refrigeration Preferred Qualifications: - Additional HVAC/R certifications - Experience diagnosing complex control system issues By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, Al-generated calls, text messages, or emails from Synerfac Technical Staffing and our contracted partners.
