Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Account Manager to lead and manage a team of service electricians. This role is responsible for overseeing contractors, vendors, suppliers, and employees while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.
The ideal candidate will provide leadership, coordination, and operational support across multiple electrical projects while promoting a culture focused on safety, teamwork, customer service, and environmental stewardship. This position will also collaborate closely with executive leadership in a strategic decision-support capacity.
Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and manage a team of up to 20 electricians
Oversee the work of contractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal staff
Coordinate project planning and execution to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables
Monitor staff performance, productivity, and project progress
Motivate and encourage teamwork while maintaining operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards
Identify and mitigate job-site safety hazards
Promote a safe, hazard-free, and accident-free work environment
Maintain strong customer relationships and provide excellent customer service
Manage projects involving electrical equipment installations for high-profile projects
Collaborate with company leadership to support operational and business decisions
Ensure departmental goals align with overall organizational objectives
Allocate resources effectively to meet project priorities and deadlines
Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical construction industry
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
Previous experience as a Licensed Electrician or Electrical Supervisor is highly preferred
Proven ability to lead and manage teams of up to 20 electricians
Strong experience with Electrical/Power Systems including:
UPS Systems
Switchgear
Generators
PDUs
Experience managing electrical installation projects is highly preferred
Strong customer service orientation
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and related software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and leadership abilities
Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work
