Seamstress / Tailor / Sewing Position (Part Time)

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Seamstress to handle garment alterations and repairs at our dry cleaners. Your daily tasks will include hemming, zipper replacements, and general mending across a wide range of fabrics. Precision is key, as you'll be expected to use industrial sewing machines to ensure every garment returns to the customer in perfect condition.

This role requires prior professional experience in tailoring or alterations. Because you will occasionally interact with clients for fittings and specific repair instructions, fluency in English is essential. This is a steady position perfect for a detail-oriented professional looking for a consistent part-time schedule.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure the proper fit of garments
• Answer customer questions
• Mark garments for tailoring
• Help to keep the tailor shop clean and organized
• Make sure that customers are properly sized
