Scrum Master

REQ- Contract Remote Contract 6 months Posted Today 6 months We are seeking a Scrum Master for a contract position (6+ months) based remotely in the United States. In this role, you will facilitate agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and coach the team to deliver effectively. Responsibilities Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to keep the team aligned and focused. Identify and remove blockers that prevent team members from progressing on their work (e.g., access issues, missing requirements, cross-team dependencies). Shield the development team from external distractions and unplanned work requests. Maintain and keep Jira or Azure DevOps boards current and organized. Track team velocity and help forecast realistic delivery timelines. Coach the team and Product Owner on writing clear, well-defined work items. Qualifications Required Experience facilitating agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives). Experience removing impediments and supporting team productivity. Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps. Ability to coach teams and stakeholders on agile practices.
