School Speech Language Pathologist - Arlington Heights, IL

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Ideal candidates bring solid experience working with school-aged children, particularly within low incidence populations. You'll collaborate closely with special educators, teachers, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student's unique needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed SLP in Illinois
• PEL (Professional Educator License) Certification required
• Experience working in schools, particularly with low incidence or K-5 populations, is highly desirable
• SLP-CCC credential preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with a wide range of communication needs
• Create and implement individualized therapy plans focusing on speech, language, and communication development
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth and progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Utilize evidence-based practices and remain current with best practices in school speech-language pathology
