Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student success as an Occupational Therapist in a vibrant educational environment. This role focuses on elementary students, providing vital OT services on a flexible, part-time schedule-2 days each week. With a manageable caseload of approximately 25 students and set hours aligned with the school day (8:35 AM to 3:38 PM), you'll make a meaningful difference while maintaining work-life balance.

As the primary OT for this role, your expertise will mainly benefit elementary-aged learners, ensuring they have the support necessary to thrive in their daily school routines. By collaborating with educators and supporting the district, you'll help cultivate inclusive, adaptive learning environments.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid licensure and registration as an Occupational Therapist in Michigan
  • Prior experience delivering OT services in a school or pediatric setting
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Compassionate, student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of about 25 elementary students
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver strategies and adaptations that support student participation in academic and school activities
  • Document progress, maintain records, and participate in student meetings
  • Communicate effectively with staff and parents regarding student goals and achievements
