Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a school-based Occupational Therapist near Boston, MA! This position runs from August 2026 to June 2027, offering the chance to make a real impact through individualized intervention and collaboration with educational teams. With a flexible schedule of 12-15 hours per week across five days, you'll have ample opportunity to support students' growth while balancing your professional goals.

Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License for Massachusetts (MA) required
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement effective therapy interventions for diverse needs
  • Collaborative spirit for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored therapy plans for students
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP requirements
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes on student performance
  • Participate in team meetings to share insights and recommendations
  • Engage creatively to foster students' independence in classroom and school activities
