School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Spanaway, Washington

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in early childhood education as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, working onsite with a preschool caseload near Spanaway, WA. Your role will be essential in supporting young learners on their communication journeys throughout the school year.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous school-based SLP experience, especially with preschoolers, preferred
• Strong collaboration skills with educators, parents, and support staff
• Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress
• Comfortable working exclusively onsite

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in preschool-aged children
• Develop and deliver targeted therapy sessions to support student goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain clear, timely documentation
• Work closely with teachers and families to maximize student success
• Foster a positive, engaging therapy environment tailored to young learners
• Monitor and adjust therapy plans based on ongoing student assessment

This is a full-time, onsite, contract position from August 31st, 2026, through June 15th, 2027, working 35-37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday with a consistent schedule.
