Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding full-time role supporting students across Pre-K through 12th grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist during a maternity leave fill-in. This contract-to-hire opportunity runs from 7:45 am to 3:50 pm and offers the chance to provide essential services to a caseload of approximately 50 students. The position is located near Fremont, NE, and is perfect for professionals passionate about making a tangible difference in a school environment.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Recent experience working in a school setting, preferably with Pre-K to 12th-grade students
  • Strong skills in evaluation, documentation, and communication
  • Proficiency in managing IEP processes, including evaluations, writing, organizing, and leading/attending meetings
  • Collaborative approach and commitment to student progress

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete speech, language, and communication evaluations for referred students
  • Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Participate in and lead IEP meetings, working closely with parents, teachers, and other staff
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in alignment with student goals
  • Maintain accurate service records, progress notes, and compliance with school policies
