School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Desoto, Texas

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You'll primarily be based at one location, though on occasion, you may serve two nearby schools-travel within the district is convenient and travel time is minimal. This contract position spans the academic year, running from early August to late May, and offers four available openings for passionate, skilled SLPs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold a valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
• Previous experience providing SLP services in school settings is highly valued
• Strong organizational skills to keep weekly timelogs for time approval
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with school staff and administration

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of students, tailoring plans to meet IEP goals
• Complete assessments and develop intervention strategies for students with communication needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Document services and maintain accurate weekly time logs to be submitted for approval
• Adapt your schedule as needed to best meet the needs of your assigned site(s)
