School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Allendale, Michigan

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist! This opportunity spans the upcoming school year, beginning August 18, 2026 and concluding June 11, 2027. You'll be working 30 to 35 hours per week in a vibrant educational environment near Allendale, MI, collaborating with an onsite facilitator to create positive outcomes for your students.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent
• Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP, or eligibility to obtain
• CCC-SLP credential or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
• Experience working with high school populations preferred, but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and relevant school-based documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Deliver group and one-on-one speech and language therapy services
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Document student performance, maintain records, and provide updates at team meetings
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
• Collaborate closely with the onsite facilitator for seamless support
