Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a direct impact in the lives of K-8 students as a part-time School Physical Therapist during both summer sessions and the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity offers a chance to work closely with students in a supportive environment, designing interventions that help them thrive physically and academically. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience or training in school-based physical therapy settings
  • Skill in developing age-appropriate treatment plans for elementary and middle school students
  • Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with educators and caregivers
  • A commitment to supporting children's physical development in an academic context

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students in grades K-8, tailored to their individual needs and IEPs
  • Conduct assessments and regularly evaluate student progress
  • Develop and implement intervention programs that promote mobility, balance, and developmental skills
  • Consult with parents, staff, and school team members, offering recommendations and strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required

You will work approximately four hours per week, supporting students during Summer School (July 7, 2026 to July 30, 2026) and throughout the academic year (August 24, 2026 to June 11, 2027).
