School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Lancaster, Ohio

Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You'll play a key role supporting student success across three sites within a welcoming school district. This full-time position runs from August 5, 2026, through May 27, 2027, providing you the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year.

What you'll bring:

• Active COTA licensure in Ohio
• Current educator certification
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Ability to adapt approaches for diverse student needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills, with a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation

What the role involves:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy interventions to up to 50 students spanning three locations
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress, update goals, and maintain clear, timely records
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, student-centered environment
• Employ evidence-based practices to foster independence and academic achievement
• Travel between sites within the district as needed
