Adecco is hiring immediately for a Sanitor (Food Production & Meat Packing Facility) in San Antonio, TX. Weekly pay starting at $15.00 p/hr. This is an opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career.

Environment: Refrigerated food production & meat processing facility

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sanitor to perform sanitation duties in a high-volume food production and meat packing environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience maintaining sanitary conditions on production floors, processing lines, and storage rooms while following strict food safety and regulatory standards.

This role is essential for ensuring the facility meets all cleanliness, safety, and quality requirements throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production floors, production lines, processing equipment, and storage rooms according to facility standards.

• Perform sanitation duties throughout the entire shift, including routine and deep cleaning tasks.

• Safely handle and apply a variety of industrial cleaning chemicals, detergents, and sanitizing agents.

• Operate sanitation equipment such as foamers, pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and related tools.

• Follow all food safety, quality assurance, and workplace safety protocols.

• Work effectively in a cold, refrigerated environment for extended periods.

• Complete required sanitation logs and documentation.

• Communicate with production and quality teams to ensure proper cleaning and readiness of equipment and work areas.

• Adhere to all company policies related to safety, compliance, and facility cleanliness.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Sanitation Technician (or similar role) in a food production or meat processing facility.

• Experience cleaning production floors, processing lines, and production storage rooms.

• Ability to work comfortably in refrigerated conditions.

• Familiarity with a wide range of industrial cleaning solutions and sanitation equipment.

• Must wear required PPE, including composite toe non slip footwear/boots and a warm jacket.

• Must be able to work Sundays and be available for both 1st and 2nd shifts.

• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.

• Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation and drug screen.

• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently.

Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
