Salesforce Data Cloud Architect - Telecom Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Data Cloud Architect with strong expertise in data and analytics architecture and experience supporting telecom-related business environments. The role will focus on enterprise data architecture, Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360), data modernization, migration, Azure data platforms, reporting modernization, and integration architecture. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across data strategy, architecture, implementation, governance, and modernization initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications 12+ years of professional experience in Data and Analytics Architecture, including experience in the Telecom domain. 5+ years of experience designing and architecting solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. Knowledge of the Salesforce Commissions platform. Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360). Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data modernization programs. Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and Python. Experience with Azure data services, including: Azure SQL Azure Data Factory Azure Functions Data Lake architectures Experience with Tableau architecture and reporting modernization. Experience leading or supporting large-scale data migration initiatives. Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, integration patterns, governance, security, and performance optimization. Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Application Architect and/or System Architect certification. Azure Solutions Architect certification. Experience in telecom, channel-partner, commission-management, or distribution ecosystems. Experience with large-volume historical data migration programs. Experience working with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders. Lead architecture activities for large-scale data migration and historical-data modernization programs. Design and optimize Azure-based data solutions using Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Data Lake architectures. Define Tableau architecture and support modernization of enterprise reporting and analytics platforms. Establish data architecture governance, security, compliance, and performance standards. Collaborate with engineering, analytics, Salesforce, cloud, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. Provide technical guidance on integration architecture, DevOps, release governance, and platform modernization.
