JOB SUMMARY & SCOPE: Automation Intelligence, a Peak Technologies company, Robotics Vision Engineer is responsible for configuring and supporting vision systems integrated with robotic automation for part picking, placing, and inspection. This role involves on-site work at customer locations and includes installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and operation of vision-guided robotic systems. The engineer works with a variety of camera technologies and robotic platforms and must be comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Travel and shift work are required. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Configure and support vision-guided robotic systems for part handling and inspection applications.
Work directly with Keyence, Photoneo, and Matrox camera systems to set up and maintain machine vision capabilities.
Integrate vision systems with Fanuc robotic platforms, ensuring accurate calibration and reliable performance.
Support installation, testing, and validation of systems at customer sites.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to vision hardware, software, and robotic integration.
Collaborate with team members and customers to ensure successful system deployment and operation.
Maintain a professional presence and communication with customers during on-site support.
Comply with shift schedules and travel requirements to support operations.
Perform additional duties as assigned within area of expertise.

Experience with vision-guided robotic applications, including part picking, placement, and inspection.
Proficiency in working with Fanuc robots and associated vision integration.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively with engineering and customer teams.
Strong communication skills and professional customer engagement.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to customer sites.
Availability for shift-based work.
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, or Mechatronics Engineering (preferred).
