• $33.23- $37.90 (5 years of experience)-$42.44 (10 years of experience)- $48.57 (17 + years of experience)

Responsibilities

• observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured, or infirm; and the promotion of wellness, maintenance of health, and prevention of illness of others.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner.
• Shifts: Nights only (rotating weekends.
• 12-hour shifts

Requirements

• 1 year of previous RN critical care experience required.
  
• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
• Current Florida State Registered Nurse license or compact. If a compact license is held, an active FL RN license is required within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS/ACLS certification).
• NIHSS stroke certification and PALS required.
• Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Critical thinking, service excellence, good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
• 2 years of RN critical care experience is required. Recent ICU or ICU stepdown experience.
