Rheumatologist

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist to join their busy and growing practice. This role offers the opportunity to provide world-class healthcare in America's heartland, serving a diverse patient population in Bismarck, North Dakota. The successful candidate will contribute to a high-volume practice with a broad referral network.

Practice Info

• Join a current group of 2 physicians in a very busy, growing practice
• High volume practice
• Referral network spanning Western North Dakota, Eastern Montana, and Southern Canada
• Approximately 17-20 outpatients per day
• Diverse patient load age ranging from 18 - 90

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examination
• Admit (if applicable to the setting)
• Provide consultative services
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages with diseases of the joints, muscles, bones, and tendons

Requirements

• No visa sponsorship available
• Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist
• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Successful completion of an Internal Medicine or Pediatric residency program, followed by the completion of a fellowship in Rheumatology accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
• Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
• If not board certified at the time of application but completed fellowship training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training
