<b> <b>Job Description</b> </b><br><br><b>Saint Luke's East Hospital </b>is looking for a <b>Registered Nurse</b> to join the dynamic <b>Cardiovascular Recovery Unit. </b><br><br><b>Position:</b> Registered Nurse - CVRU<br><b>Schedule:</b> Part Time, 24 Hours/Week - Nights<br><br>Join a dynamic and collaborative cardiac and critical care team where your expertise and clinical judgement truly make a difference. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures, as well as managing acute and critical diagnoses. The RN functions with a high degree of clinical judgement, accountability, and critical thinking while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.<br><br>Patient Population & Clinical Focus<br><br>The RN will care for patients with, but not limited to:<ul><li>Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)</li><li>Pacemaker placement</li><li>Peripheral vascular procedures</li><li>Interventional radiology (IR) procedures</li><li>Respiratory failure</li><li>DKA/insulin drips</li><li>Post-STEMI recovery</li><li>Other acute and complex cardiac and critical care diagnoses</li></ul>Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
