Job Description

The Oklahoma City VA Healthcare System (OCVAHCS) is actively recruiting a board-certified, board-eligible full-time permanent hospital employed physician to join our Radiology department. The Radiology Physician is accountable to the Chief of Radiology Service. Radiologists are responsible for interpreting all modalities, which include general radiographic exams, plain film exams, fluoroscopic exams, bone densitometry exams; Computerized tomography (CT/LDCT/CTA) exams; MRI/MRA exams and ultrasound exams. Evaluating, and managing patients referred for radiology consultations and procedures as appropriate. The candidate should be able to work with our radiology colleagues and radiology residents from the University of Oklahoma to provide seamless care to the veterans we serve.

This position would encourage to obtain affiliation with an academic institution, the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. The OCVAMC is in Oklahoma City, OK and is the Flagship for the Oklahoma VA Health Care System (OCVAHCS) - a Joint Commission accredited, referral level 1a (high complexity) facility. The Radiology department serves patients across the spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care for more than 63,000 veterans in an area that includes 48 counties in Oklahoma and 2 counties in North Central Texas.
