Quality Supervisor

Job Description

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will provide leadership, technical guidance, and scheduling support to the Quality Assurance team while helping ensure food safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the facility. You will partner with manufacturing, sanitation, and warehouse teams to support quality systems, audit programs, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinate quality assurance activities including audits, training, purchasing, and program administration.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and training to Quality Assurance Technicians and associates.
  • Monitor and verify Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point critical control points while following established policies and procedures.
  • Conduct Good Manufacturing Practice and sanitation audits across manufacturing and warehouse operations.
  • Partner with operations teams to identify and resolve quality and food safety concerns.
  • Verify operational control systems are functioning effectively and being followed consistently.
  • Place products on hold, release, or disposition products as necessary while adhering to established procedures.
  • Evaluate damaged products and determine appropriate disposition.
  • Coordinate investigations and resolution of customer complaints.
  • Ensure Statistical Process Control management practices are followed.
  • Complete analytical reviews of products and quality data.
  • Support implementation of quality policies, procedures, equipment improvements, and repair activities.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • 1-3 years of related quality assurance experience, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices, and safe work procedures.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point programs and principles.
  • Understanding of government regulations including Food and Drug Administration and United States Department of Agriculture requirements.
  • Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance fundamentals.
  • Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Experience working within a large organization or corporate environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Skilled in reading measurements and interpreting specifications.

Physical Requirements

You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.

You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.

This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation

Pay Range:$59,000-$79,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
