Quality Manager - Packaging

QUALITY MANAGER - Packaging
Were looking for a data-driven Quality Manager with experience leading both people & systems for our client in Wisconsin. This is a corporate-level role.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience leading people (a team of 10) and systems, including coaching & development


• Dedication to excellence and a continual focus on customer service with a servant leader mindset.


• Packaging or Labels Industry experience


• Proven experience working with Customers, Suppliers & Operations


• Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action methodology


• Working knowledge of statistical methods


• In-depth understanding of quality control procedures


• Ability to travel 10% of the time


• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred

EDUCATION: BS in Quality, Engineering or Materials Science

RESPONSIBILITIES Include:
Lead and develop the Quality team; develop, implement, and maintain effective quality control processes and standards and drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and nonconformances.

• Review and improve the quality program in accordance with industry standards and customer expectations


• Lead the Quality team, including Engineers, Analysts and Technicians.


• Perform statistical analysis to drive decisions and priorities.


• Lead problem-solving efforts using Root Cause Corrective Action methodology.


• Perform internal quality audits, monitor data trends, and identify opportunities to reduce risk, increase efficiency, and improve existing quality processes.


• Travel to customers and suppliers as needed to gain first-hand knowledge (10%)


• Lead internal training on quality standards and expectations


• Reports directly to the Technical Director.
