Quality Inspector Needed for Machine Shop - Direct Hire

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities:

• Inspecting parts following customer requirements using drawings, inspection lists and visual inspections
• Interpreting customer specifications
• Assess and manage RMA's for disposition
• Enter non-conforming material into the database and maintain the database
• Create RMA work orders for repair or remake
• Visually and dimensionally inspect sheet metal parts for approval
• Use SolidWorks to provide information to departments
• Perform dimensional inspections on machined components
• Maintain accurate acceptance and rejection records

Qualifications:

• At least five years previous experience inspecting sheet metal and/or machined parts
• Able to read and understand specifications on prints
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Experience using calipers, micrometers and height gauges
• Strong analytic ability
• Good attention to detail

Hours

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

The pay is $28.00 an hour based on experience
