Quality Engineer / Manufacturing

Requirements:

• Seeking a Quality Engineer in manufacturing.
• Salary will depend on the depth of your experience.
• Should have knowledge in some or all of the following:
• • APQP
  • PFMEA's
  • Flow Charts
  • Inspection Plans
  • Six Sigma Tools
  • ISO / IATF Standards
  • 8D
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Extrusion process

Duties:

• Act as a technical resource for manufacturing by providing quality expertise to assist with development of APQP documentation. This includes, but is not limited to, control plans, PFMEAs, flow charts, and inspection plans.
• Support manufacturing in achieving quality and policy deployment goals.
• Actively participate and assist manufacturing to ensure quality requirements are in compliance in daily operations.
• Investigate customer concerns, develop containment activities, and coach 8D team in implementation of both process and system countermeasures as applicable. Ensure satisfactory completion of 8D documentation prior to submission to customer.
