Location: Alpharetta, GA
Salary:$60,000 - $75,000 per year

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join a growing manufacturing team in Alpharetta, GA. This position is responsible for supporting product quality, engineering initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and ensuring compliance with industry standards throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing quality processes for commercial millwork and fixture manufacturing projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Develop, support, and improve product quality throughout the design and manufacturing process.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production teams.
• Participate in product design reviews and recommend quality improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality assurance, and operations to resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and customers.
• Maintain and develop technical documentation and product support materials.
• Review customer specifications and ensure products meet quality and performance requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support production teams in resolving manufacturing quality concerns.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working on commercial projects for restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, universities, or other commercial facilities is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, engineering standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar platforms is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Experience with commercial millwork, retail fixtures, refrigerated displays, or custom manufacturing.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics or mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and industry regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in both an office and manufacturing environment.
• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and computer work.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
