Quality Assurance Technician

Hiring Opportunity: McConnelsville Ohio Our client is looking to hire multiple quality assurance technicians for their team in McConnelsville, Ohio! Our client is a leader in developing and manufacturing high-precision, high-strength components for a wide range of industries. The quality assistance technician is responsible for QA testing, measuring equipment, and resolving internal quality defects, error reports, companies and issues. Qualified candidates would have experience with quality assurance within a manufacturing facility. Job Responsibilities: Production Planning and Control: Maintaining and posting statistics (SP KPIs, TOP5, etc.) Order processing: Coordination with production planning Management of consumables and operating materials Assisting with feedback to other teams (e.g., ST, IND-ENG) (FMEA # Feedback) Prototype production in accordance with the new part process Participating in kick-off, follow-up, and handover meetings Resolving internal quality defects / error reports Process monitoring / quality: Resolving complaints and issues with suppliers or customers Deriving and planning corrective actions based on capability studies Initiating or creating a defect report Evaluating test results, assisting with metrological issues Issuing supplier complaints Determining possible rework Developing alternative measurement methods in collaboration with ST-Q and the Quality Manager Handling test equipment in accordance with the training course Proper Handling of Measuring and test equipment Providing information to SV, PT, or the person responsible for setting up the equipment to determine the procedure for addressing machine, product, or process issues Reviewing process records with random spot checks of employee cooperation in creating item-specific AK Control of defective products; implementation of audit findings; worker self-inspections; support with mini-audits Responsible for QA testing and measuring equipment in general (maintenance, organization, and support for special measurements, service Responsibility for defect catalogs and acceptance (samples; cleanliness, functional tests, etc.) Analysis of key performance indicators, defect reports, final inspection records, and initiation of corrective actions Process stability for products and equipment: Collaboration in the approval of process changes; participation in customer and process audits (internal/external); conducting process audits Employee training: Training of apprentices on a rotating basis; conducting training sessions and providing instruction Providing technical support to teams in their day-to-day work and in projects (especially STs and industrialization) Order and Cleanliness: Training records Order and cleanliness in one"s own work area Active participation in the goal achievement process (including implementation of measures) Project management: Assuming project leadership Goal achievement process: Collaboration on projects Job Requirements: - Quality Assurance within a manufacturing background - Experience with various quality measuring tools - Process Knowledge - SAP, BDE, ERP knowledge - QSYS knowledge - Quality guidelines and standards understanding
