Play a critical role in serving the commercial, agricultural, and defense industries when you become a Laser/Punch Operator for a custom fabricator of metal solutions in Lake Mary, FL. You will operate computer-controlled punch machines to produce blanks for manufacturing operations or as finished flat parts. Job Responsibilities:

• Read production paperwork to determine specified requirements to manufacture
• Check parts using calipers, micrometers and height gauges
• Will load program into control to run correct parts and quantities
• Quality assurance: remove cut pieces from sheet and examine for defects associated with punching including edge quality and surface nonconformities
• Perform basic setups involving prewritten programs

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years in operating a press machine within a manufacturing setting
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
