Hartsville, South Carolina - Psychiatric NP/PA Job

Clinical Role:

  • Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible psychiatric nurse practitioner or physician assistant
  • Community health center setting
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric care including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Manage conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications
  • Provide crisis intervention and psychotherapy, as appropriate
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Participate in quality assurance and patient-centered medical home initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
  • Outpatient only
  • Work alongside physicians and APPs
  • EMR: eClinicalWorks

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree (NP or PA program)
  • Active South Carolina license (or ability to obtain)
  • National certification required (PMHNP-BC or NCCPA; CAQ in Psychiatry preferred for PAs)
  • BLS certification required
  • Two or more years of psychiatric experience strongly preferred
