Prototype Fabrication Technician

Join an innovative team as a Prototype Fabrication Technician, where precision and creativity come together to drive cutting-edge projects. Located in Plymouth, MN and operating on the 1st shift, this role is integral to advancing the goals of our Technology Center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft machined parts, assemblies, and sheet metal components using blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions.


• Analyze drawings, photographs, and written descriptions to determine appropriate materials, fabrication methods, and assembly processes.


• Skillfully operate and maintain diverse machine tools such as milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and more.


• Provide insights to management on process improvements and equipment enhancements.


• Ensure the Model Shop remains organized and safe, fostering an environment of efficiency.


• Conduct training sessions for personnel on standard procedures and equipment usage.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.


• A minimum of six years of relevant experience in fabrication.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Universal Refrigeration Certificate.
