Production Technician / Chemical Operator Location: Carlstadt, NJ Schedule: Day Shift Employment Type: Direct Hire Pay Rate: $30-$35/hour Job Description A well-established manufacturer specializing in high-performance polymer and chemical materials is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Technician / Chemical Operator to join their team in Carlstadt, NJ. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience operating manufacturing equipment in a chemical, polymer, plastics, or industrial production environment. Responsibilities include setting up and operating production machinery used in the blending, mixing, and processing of chemical and polymer materials, monitoring product quality, performing basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments, and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently. Candidates will be responsible for weighing and batching raw materials, following production formulas and SOPs, monitoring temperatures and process conditions, documenting production data, and maintaining compliance with company quality standards. Additional responsibilities include equipment setup and changeovers, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and adhering to all OSHA and company safety procedures. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and following all company safety and quality standards.
