JOB SUMMARY

E.A.B. Fabrication, Inc. is hiring full-time experienced Mig Welders responsible for fitting and welding steel( must pass a weld test). This is a 1st shift position that offers competitive compensation and benefits.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up welding machines.

Read and interpret drawing components.

Complete all required QC related paperwork.

MIG weld components based on drawing specifications.

Set up welding cells for production runs.

Operate welders, hand plasmas, torches, and grinders used in the production process.

Follow weld line process per the supervisor.

Keep work areas clean and organized.

Properly care for all equipment, tools, and facilities.

Follow all company policies and procedures.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.

Follow all safety rules and quality standards.

Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Prepare products for next stage of production.

Uphold all applicable ISO and OSHA standards.

Perform other miscellaneous tasks assigned by supervisor.

No ripped or frayed jeans allowed.

Ensure tinted safety glasses are worn while welding.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Experience with steel and/or stainless steel.

Experience with MIG welding (highly preferred).

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Basic knowledge of fabricating, reading tapes, and print reading.

Basic troubleshooting.

Knowledge of changing out gas and weld wire.

Ability to perform basic math.

Reliable with a strong work ethic.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Ability to work 40+ hours a week.
