Production - Melt Deck Operator

Charter Casting is Hiring on our Melt Deck $27/hr + $2,000 Hiring Bonus

Melt Deck Operator 3rd Shift (12-hour shifts, 6pm-6am) $27/hr

• Transport melting materials and supplies;

• Operate melting furnace charging equipment

• Learn to operate the melting furnaces.

• Transport melting materials and supplies from the warehouse or other locations to the melt deck.

• Remove full slag hoppers from the melt deck and transport to commercial refuse containers.

• Responsible for own safety and the safety of others in the area.

• BONUS: A $2,000 SIGN ON BONUS paid out after 90 days + quarterly bonuses + annual profit sharing bonus!

What You Bring:

• 1 year prior experience working in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field

• Someone who lives by our values of trust, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement

• High School Diploma (we can help with our GED works program!)

• Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 60lbs

• Basic math and problem solving skills
