Production Blending Operator

The pay rate is 17.00 an hour

1st shift: 5:00 am to 1:30 pm

The job location is in Grand Prairie, Texas 75050

Temp to Perm.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate industrial blending and mixing equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Weigh, measure, and blend raw ingredients following batch sheets and production formulas.
• Set up and adjust blending equipment for production runs.
• Monitor blending processes to ensure product consistency and quality.
• Verify ingredient accuracy and complete required production documentation.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment issues to the maintenance department.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area in accordance with GMP, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and food safety procedures.
• Assist with loading ingredients, transferring finished product, and general production duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous food manufacturing, blending, mixing, or production experience preferred.
• Experience weighing and measuring ingredients using batch sheets is a plus.
• Ability to read work orders, production sheets, and follow written instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working around spices, powders, and food ingredients.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and required PPE for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
