Power System Engineer (Entry Level)

SE Engineering, PC is looking for a motivated Power System Engineer (PSE) to join our growing team. If you're passionate about electrical power systems and want hands-on experience across industries like manufacturing, healthcare, data centers, and water/wastewater-this is an excellent opportunity to build your career.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects involving power system studies, design, troubleshooting, and field testing, with a clear path for professional growth.

What You'll Do

Perform power system analysis, design, and troubleshooting

Conduct power quality testing and onsite field investigations

Support electrical design and system improvement projects

Collect and analyze system data using monitoring equipment

Apply NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and ANSI standards in your work

Collaborate with project teams and contribute to safe, high-quality project execution

Learn from and work side-by-side with company leadership

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (power focus preferred)

0-2 years of experience (internships/co-ops count!)

EIT certification (or working toward it) is a plus

Familiarity with power system tools like SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower is a plus

Self-motivated with a strong learning agility

Effective communication and organizational skills
