Job Description
The Supervisor for Plumbing and Heating oversees the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems across both residential and commercial properties. Balancing office and on-site responsibilities, this role leads teams of 1-7 members to ensure operational efficiency, safety compliance, and superior customer service. Responsibilities
- Oversee installation and service of HVAC/R systems for residential and commercial sites
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions
- Coordinate and lead teams of 1-7 technicians to optimize job performance
- Consult customers to assess needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all codes and regulations
- Provide technical training and guidance to team members
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and equipment conditions
- Manage tools, diagnostic equipment, and materials for efficient operations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years experience in HVAC/R supervision
- EPA Section 608 Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with HVAC system installation
- Proficient in technical blueprint reading
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Skillful operation of diagnostic tools
