Plant Manager

Our client, in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Plant Manager to join their team. As a Plant Manager, you will be part of the operations department supporting production, quality assurance, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to operational excellence, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Plant Manager

Pay Range:$130,000 - $180,000

What's the Job?

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for manufacturing departments within the facility.
• Oversee production, maintenance, quality assurance, supply chain, and engineering functions.
• Drive safety initiatives, ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and environmental regulations.
• Lead continuous improvement projects utilizing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Develop and mentor departmental leaders, fostering a high-performance culture and talent pipeline.

What's Needed?

• Over 5 years of experience as an area manager, high-level superintendent, or current plant manager in the meat industry, preferably poultry.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong work history with consistent leadership roles and a track record of managing large-scale operations.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
