Job Summary This position will provide primary Finance support for Medline's Glens Falls manufacturing facility with additional manufacturing finance coverage for the Namic product division. The position reports to a Sr. Finance Manager and will have a dotted line to the Glens Falls Sr. Director of Manufacturing Operations. This position involves analyzing production volumes, controlling manufacturing expenses, reviewing capital expenditures & being a business partner to all functions within the manufacturing facilities. The right individual for this role is someone who has prior experience in manufacturing finance, is a self-starter, energetic, and willing to take on challenges with a positive attitude. Job Description Responsibilities: Review, analyze and present the plant's financial results, trends and metrics monthly to manufacturing location and finance leadership. Own the development of the Glens Falls annual operating budget (AOP) and subsequent forecast (OTL) processes. Review, track, and monitor plant costs and to also perform variance analysis by investigating drivers (production volumes, factory expenses, absorption, etc.). Continually review manufacturing processes, cost of materials, capex investments, and location costs. Financial modeling, scenario-testing, ROI analyses to support decision making by senior leadership. Knowledge of development and maintenance of Bill of Materials (BOMs). Setting and maintaining product cost standards. Collaborate with manufacturing staff to drive profitability improvement initiatives and track results. Adherence to corporate controls with proper documentation & check points (Cycle Count, Scrap, Fixed Asset, etc.) Provide support for the implementation of new processes, controls and reporting requirements to expand the financial tools needed to make key business decisions at the plant locations. Required Experience: Education High School Diploma Work Experience At least 5 years of experience in financial planning, reporting, and/or analysis. At least 1 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. At least 1 year of experience providing financial advice and counsel to P&L/business owners. Experience leading profit improvement initiatives. Additional Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and other ERP financial systems. Position requires travel for business purposes (within state and out of state) Preferred Qualifications: Education Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting MBA Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Experience in any of these ERPs/tools: SAP, Oracle, PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx. The anticipated salary range for this position: $101,000.00 - $152,000.00 Annual The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
