Key Responsibilities • Conduct intake evaluations, chronic care clinics, and urgent medical assessments. • Review and prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans. • Ensure compliance with medical protocols, regulatory requirements, and correctional healthcare standards. • Provide clinical oversight and guidance to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and nursing staff. • Collaborate with facility leadership on healthcare operations, risk management, and policy implementation.
Qualifications • Experience in emergency medicine, family practice, correctional healthcare, or public health preferred. • Physician (MD/DO): Graduate of an accredited medical/osteopathic school with an active, • unrestricted South Carolina medical license • DEA registration.
