Comprehensive/Cataract Ophthalmologist - Upstate New York Join an established group of 5 ophthalmologists and 3 optometrists. Current need is for a general ophthalmologist who can provide comprehensive eye care Current group has pediatric, retina and glaucoma specialists Support staff consists of ophthalmic technicians, LPN s,and RN s and are well trained On call is every 5th weekend, from Cooperstown, and rarely busy Outreach clinics are attended by all ophthalmologists but are limited to only one location each Referral patterns to tertiary care ophthalmologists are well established Salary Range: $433,000 - $525,000 plus performance-based compensation Residency stipend up to $40,000 available up to 18 months prior to graduation Sign-on Bonus up to $100,000 Group Employed Model Job Requirements MD, DO or MBBS Board Eligible or Board Certified New York State Licensure BLS Certification Required DEA Required Misc Benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance Paid time off, including vacations and holidays Life insurance and disability protection Paid malpractice Retirement plan CME time and money Supportive transition bonus
